The All Star selections were named on Sunday with the Eagles getting five selections.

Topping the list is #7 ZACH MILLER who was named as the starting shortstop and also picked up the League Batting Title while hitting .489 with an OB% 582, 18 runs and 15 RBI's, also his team honored him with the MVP award.

#22 CORY TATE was named as a starting outfielder while batting .444 with an OB% 467, 7 runs and 7 RBI's,

EAGLES TAKE 5TH PLACE IN INDY'S SPORTZONE TOURNEY!

The Eagles went to Indy not knowing what to expect. They went with only 11 players and had 2 pitchers with arm ailments. They surely never expected to win 4 of 5 and take 5th in the 12 team tournament. Pitching being a dire issue before the Tourney turned into a non issue as the Eagles Staff had their best outings of the year. With the exception of the game against a power house team of prospects in the Orland Park Magic, the Eagles pitching staff got better as the weekend wore on. EAGLES SWEEP SERIES AGAINST TIGERS

The Eagles finished a sweep of the Tigers with a 10-4 win Wednesday night. The Eagles got solid pitching to go along with solid hitting. #14 BLAKE MCGINNIS picked up the win in a great pitching effort giving up 1 earned run in 6 innings while giving up 6 hits,1 walk and striking out 6. #30 THOMAS GAMACHE picked up the save while striking out 3 in one inning of work while also adding a triple offensively. The offense was led by #7 ZACH MILLER who went 3 for 5 and 4 RBI's, #12 TIM MARSH was 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored, and #24 AARON VREDENBURG had a run scored with a triple.
